Despite working from home, I can get very busy with life and can get incredibly slow with my responses. My schedule for work changes every week and my hours can vary from time to time. I seek RP partners who are patient or have similar slow pacing as me. Please do not pressure me for replies unless I have not responded for over two weeks. Lysandra is a rather fandomless oc and can fit into any role - Though she is mainly based and inspired from Ancient Egypt under the Rome's Rule from Assassin's Creed Origins, with a fantasy twist. The nature of the setting can get quite dark, or sometimes my character can be faced with twisted situations. Just a note: Please warn me beforehand if you plan to do any of the following in this list. I often avoid these topics, please ask first but I prefer not to engage in it at all.

writing lengths

Usually, I try my best to match writing lengths but I generally write less than three paragraphs. It can increase or decrease depending on situation, how I feel about writing and so on. If you're looking for a novella writer unfortunately, you won't find one in me! If there is a preferred pace, length and style you're looking for, please discuss this with me before we begin plotting or writing together. I want to ensure that my writing partner is also enjoying what I'm making with them!

  Childhood   Born in the town of Cyrene, Lysandra was raised in a comfortable home to an Egyptian Mother, Habibah, and a Greek Father, Nikolas. For most of her life, she has lived without much stress and free of worry.That was until her father's attention turned elsewhere, embroiled in political conflict and oftentimes leaving his family to their own devices for days on end. Much to her mother's grief and frustration, she declared that unless Nikolas returned to his homely duties to take care of his family, she would take herself and her daughter away into the far reaches of Cyrene. With a broken heart, she realised her beloved refused to honour her wishes and eventually was forced to face the reality. A month after her declaration, Habibah returned to her hometown in Yamu. There, she devoted herself to the Temple of Sekhmet in an effort to bury her past and find purpose in the goddess.  Early Life   Growing up in Egypt for most of her younger years kept her engrained in her mother's side of culture, especially in a Temple where she was educated in reading, writing, songs and many rites of the Goddess Sekhmet.There, she learned how to concoct simple medicines and eventually flourished as a Cleric of the Twilight Domain, signifying the duality of Sekhmet's violence and her nature of healing as a Goddess.  Revisiting the Past   Echoes of her past eventually begins call for her, tormenting her with dreams of a faceless man who abandoned his family - Her father. Wishing to find closure for herself and her mother, Lysandra set out for Cyrene. Upon arrival, she found traces of history of her father's descent to madness, as told by the gossipmonger in the streets, of how his corruption of authority caused chaos amongst the people and disappeared like a coward to avoid confrontation from the public.For some time, Lysandra spent many months between Alexandria and Egypt to find her father, with no success. After much consolation, she decided to leave Egypt and find him in Greece, praying and hoping to unravel the fate of her broken family.

ㅤappearanceㅤ Lysandra is a rather short woman but what makes up for her height is her rather charismatic and beguiling way with words. She often dresses in flowing black robes that are encrusted with enchanted gems that will keep her cool in the desert heat. Sometimes, she would wear a shawl during a cold night or a crossing the desert during a heavy sandstorm.

As a Cleric, she takes her role seriously in setting an example for others of virtue and goodwill, especially when serving under major goddesses.

Just like her Lady of Slaughter, Lysandra can sometimes have urges, mostly driven by her deity, of an extreme level of devotion in righting wrongs.

A shimmering field of gold and an illusion of the river nile appears and surrounds a creature of your choice within range, granting it a +2 bonus to AC for the duration.

ㅤsacred flameㅤ
Flame-like radiance descends on a creature that you can see within range. The target must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take 1d8 radiant damage. The target gains no benefit from cover for this saving throw.

ㅤfaerie fireㅤ
Each object within range is outlined in blue, green, or violet light. Any creature in the area when the spell is cast is also outlined in light if it fails a Dexterity saving throw. For the duration, objects and affected creatures shed dim light in a 10-foot radius.

ㅤhealing wordㅤ
A creature of your choice that you can see within range regains hit points equal to 1d4 + your spellcasting ability modifier. This spell has no effect on undead or constructs. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the Healing increases by 1d4 for each slot level above 1st.

ㅤmoonbeamㅤ
A beam of light shines down centered on a point within range. When a creature enters the spell’s area for the first time, it is engulfed in ghostly flames that cause searing pain, and it must make a Constitution saving throw.

Instead of being born in the Roman Era, she is instead raised in the ancient world of greece as a cleric to the goddess athena. raised by her father alone, she has closer ties to greece and her class switches to a fully fledged cleric of the order domain. lysandra has a more knowledgable and more strategic air to her in a war-torn greece split by athens and sparta.
